Thanks for sharing this thoughtful little reflection, Jes. I'd never thought about it before...but when I was a more avid music album collector myself, there were several truly amazing albums by favorite solo artists I remember waiting patiently for. (Enya's Amarantine and Kenny G's The Moment come to mind for me...both four years in the making.) You're right...the gestation period produces sweeter fruit, and the wait enhances the enjoyment. :-)
