Congrats!! (I guess). Would you be changing the look of the site?
Thanks. Right now, we have no immediate plans to change the look of the site other than a couple of minor things. I image that sometime next year we'll consider whether a bigger change is needed.

What are your thoughts?

By the way, I'm Jerod Clark. I'm one of the people from Back to God that will be contributing to Think Christian. I'll have a post later this week with more info about myself.
Thanks for all that you have done and I know will continue to do with back to God. Thanks for letting me plug my book, which should be out sometime in Dec/Jan, by the way my name is John Sisemore, funny that I've never told anyone on this site. In God's Grace John
I feel sad, like I'm losing friends.
Will Andy and Chris and James and David continue to post?
It's tough saying goodbye to Gospel Communications, but our hope at Back to God is to make sure Think Christian continues to thrive. Andy, Chris and James have all committed to keep writing for now. David Ker is taking a break from all of his blogging, but we hope he'll come back when he's ready to blog again.

In general, we're in the process of contacting all of the past contributors to see it they still want to be a part of TC. We're also talking with other people we know who would bring good voices to this forum.

part of a broader ministry effort to help people approach daily life with a discerning Biblical mindset

I humbly submit that ThinkChristian still needs to grow in this respect. Currently, for me, it's more of a bulletin board of what's happening on the Christian scene and interesting reading than a ministry which changes our focus. Just how the posts here help me integrate faith and daily life is an area which, I think, needs work.
Absolutely! If we weren't looking to make TC better we would have just closed up shop or let it run out of steam and die. Believe us--we're the first to admit that we have room to grow. I know that Back to God has a number of plans for ThinkChristian that frankly Andy and I just did not have the time or resources to make happen. I'm fully confident that they'll take this site and make it be more than it is.

Thanks for your comments, Marc!
Thanks, Christiane! Don't worry, we'll be around. Back to God has been very generous with allowing us to continue writing for ThinkChristian. They're a group of stellar people.
I'll echo Chris' thoughts here--I think Back to God will help ThinkChristian move closer to that goal. And I'd also like to thank you, Marc and other regular commenters--your participation is going to be a key part of making TC better!

I know the Back to God team is very open to suggestions, so don't hesitate to leave specific suggestions or comments here.
What, you don't care if I ever post again? *sob*

Just kidding — given the infrequency of my posts, I'm sure you don't even remember me. Anyhoo, back to topic:

Congrats to TC on the finding of a new home! Having met with Steven Koster from BtG (and, apparently, having known him tangentially for nearly a decade), I believe that this is going to be a very good move for TC. Good luck, all!
As one of the original crew that started ThinkChristian almost four years ago (man, where does the time go!) I can't say how excited I am that Back to God is taking on TC. I know they'll do a great job, and I look forward to years of thoughtful posts and discussions.

Shalom!
Jerod, thanks for acknowledging my MIA. I do hope to return in the future when things both personal and professional have settled down.

BTW, on my recent Obama Rev 13 post this blog pushed some serious traffic to my Lingamish blog so I was impressed by the readership vs. commenters.
