This was a beautiful reflection; thanks for the humble courage I'm sure it took to share it.

Reading this, I found myself wondering about those who weren't as lucky to have families able to visit so regularly. I can imagine if you're poorer or even if you don't have the resources for this kind of effort, it makes rehabilitation that much harder. I wonder if this is something local churches could help with - perhaps organizing a bus or some kind of video-chat for families of prisoners? Because reading your piece, it struck me that this work is so vital, and it's the kind of thing all families should be able to do, but that not all could even afford the gas!
