Stranger Things tells a fairy-tale story with a kingdom theology twist.

I just finished watching season one and I think Stephen has captured the essence of the series in a cogent way. I explain the show as a cross between Goonies, ET and Signs because of the children's alliance to courageously confront evil as well as the presence of a malevolent evil that is separated from the world by a very thin space. The characters really do grow on you and I look forward to a season two since the ending of the final episode seemed to hint in that direction.
