Returning troops and moral injury

The remedy for helping these returning soldiers is the same that all believers need - a community of believers that takes the time to love one another.

I find that is increasingly missing from our churches. It is all too easy to find yourself isolated and alone while being a member of a body of believers. It takes intentional effort to make yourself known, especially if you are a member of a large church. In addition, our society as a whole is less interactive than it once was. On my own street, there are people who barely know each other, and almost never interact.

In such a society, in such churches, how will we give the kind of love needed by our most needy brothers and sisters?
