I understand what your saying. I feel that the Cross has been misused and abused. However, I still have a Christian love for the Cross and refuse to use it in any other manner then it's true meaning. Some how I pray that it's true meaning of sacrifice and love will over come all the negativity that has been attached to it in the years to come, I will continue to pray for this; in the mean time i will continue to teach my family and friend the true meaning and hopefully they will pass on my teachings to there family and friends.
I know where you are coming from and I agree with you. It is the same way that the so called powers to be has destroyed the meaning of Christmas it's all about what they can put into their pockets. We all need to take a step back and return to the real croos of Jesus the Christ.
This is apt and thought provoking. As Christians should retrace our steps back to God in appreciation of the works of salvation Christ wrought for us on the cross. He took our curse so that we may be free.
As Christians, we know the true meaning of the ctoss. No matter how others represent the cross in a negative way, we as followers need to teach the true meaning and pray for those using the cross in a negative way. We need to rebuke the work of the enemy and teach the true meaning of the gospel!!
